Contact Form 7 Multi Step Pro
Contact Form 7 Multi Step Pro divides a lengthy Contact Form 7 form into steps, grouping related fields so visitors can complete them in sequence. Create as many steps as the form needs, use multiple multi-step forms on one WordPress website, and give each step a title that explains what information it collects.
Break long forms into clear stages
Contact Form 7 Multi Step Pro divides a lengthy Contact Form 7 form into steps, grouping related fields so visitors can complete them in sequence. Create as many steps as the form needs, use multiple multi-step forms on one WordPress website, and give each step a title that explains what information it collects.
This structure suits quote requests, registrations, subscriptions, applications, reservations, event forms, and general requests. A quote form, for example, can collect project details, contact information, and a final review in separate steps.
Create steps and assign fields
Multi Step Pro includes a native interface to the Contact Form 7 menu. Add a tab for each step, then switch between tabs to edit the fields assigned to that part of the form. The interface uses Contact Form 7's built-in tags and options.
Guide visitors through the form
The form creator selects the controls to include. Visitors can use them to track progress, move through steps, choose where to begin, or review their entries before submission.
- Progress bar: Display numbered steps, choose a pre-built styling, and display percentage progress.
- Custom navigation: Add custom Back and Next buttons.
- Transition effects: Add animations between steps.
- Preview button: Let visitors check their submitted data before sending the form.
- Show input: Add the tag to display data entered in previous fields and steps.
- Choose step: Let visitors choose a particular step to complete first.
Workflows and compatibility
Separate project details, contact information, and review in a quote request, or divide a registration, subscription, application, reservation, or event form into sections. It is listed as compatible with Database for Contact Form 7 and WooCommerce Extensions.
Install and configure
Install and activate the add-on alongside Contact Form 7. Open a form, add tabs for the required steps, and place the relevant fields in each one. Add step titles, configure the Pro navigation and display options, then insert a progress bar, preview button, or input display where needed. Review the form as a visitor and check that the Back, Next, preview, and submission flow matches the intended process.
If you uninstall the add-on, the contact form returns to its previous single-page state, with its fields and tags displayed together. The Pro edition requires a one-time payment and includes lifetime updates.
