Organize images into WordPress galleries
Image Gallery Premium is for portfolios, photography blogs, business websites, and other projects that present picture collections. Create unlimited galleries, add unlimited images to each, select images from the media library, and arrange their order with drag and drop.
Choose how each gallery is arranged
Grid layouts place images in rows and columns, masonry layouts stack images according to their dimensions, and circle layouts offer another presentation style. Grid galleries support aspect ratios such as 1:1, 4:3, and 16:9. Standard column options range from two to six, with up to 16 columns available for high-resolution widescreen screens. Galleries adjust to mobile devices and can also appear in widget areas such as sidebars.
Set spacing, corner radius, border thickness and opacity, and card colors. Image titles can appear over the hover overlay or below each image. Add alt text to images, and include descriptions or captions in the lightbox.
Choose lightbox and loading settings
Select one of six lightbox scripts: G Lightbox, PhotoSwipe v4, Modal, Viewer, Blue Imp, or LD Lightbox. Each opens an image in an overlay so users can view it without leaving the page.
The global settings page includes controls for lazy loading, WebP conversion, skeleton loading, loading animations, and backup import and export. Loading effects include shimmering skeleton placeholders and spinner, pulse, or dots icons, with color selection for these elements.
Adjust gallery presentation
Custom profile headers come in standard, centered, and compact formats, using mock social branding for a profile-style gallery presentation. AJAX Load More pagination offers Solid, Outline, Glass, Neon, and Gradient button styles. You can also add a custom redirect link to an individual slide and select whether it opens in the same or a new tab.
Duplicate or clone a gallery to copy its settings and slides. A custom CSS editor lets you override frontend stylesheet properties from the admin dashboard. Priority email support is also included.
Place galleries in your content
- Shortcode: Add [IMG-Gal id=X] to a post, page, text widget, or custom template.
- Gutenberg: Insert the Image Gallery block, choose a gallery from the dropdown, and preview it in the editor.
- Elementor: Add the Image Gallery widget to a page layout and select the gallery.
Manage gallery images separately from page layouts, then reuse a gallery in suitable areas of your WordPress site.
Create and publish a gallery
In the WordPress dashboard, open New Image Gallery and select Add Image Gallery. Upload or choose images from the media library, arrange them, configure the layout, columns, spacing, and viewing options, then save. Add the gallery to a page with its shortcode, the Gutenberg block, or the Elementor widget.
