Set the look of WooCommerce emails
YayMail provides a visual, drag-and-drop editor for WooCommerce email templates. Its free version customizes 11 default templates; YayMail Pro adds support for data from compatible plugins. Arrange content in blocks, using an editing workflow similar to Gutenberg or Elementor, without changing theme code.
Edit the email header, body, footer, signature, social follow module and other sections. Set a custom logo, brand colours, typography, social icons, pictures and other media. Premade patterns and blocks give you starting layouts, and you can duplicate components with one click. Apply custom CSS globally or to individual templates.
See how a template renders
The editor updates in real time and provides desktop and mobile views. Its WooCommerce previewer can display a mock order email or use an existing order to display actual order data. A one-click test email gives you another way to review the message before using the styling.
Import or export email templates to reuse them or move them between sites. You can export a full set of templates or an individual email as a JSON file.
Personalize content with order and plugin data
Shortcodes and placeholders can insert order, customer, billing, shipping and payment details, new-user information, and additional order metadata. YayMail Pro supports extension-related hooks, tables, custom fields, attributes, email meta fields and other variables in transactional emails.
Examples of supported integrations include Shipment Tracking by WooCommerce, Checkout Field Editor by WooCommerce or ThemeHigh, Advanced Shipment Tracking by Zorem, YITH WooCommerce Order Tracking, Flexible Checkout Fields by WPDesk, Order Status Manager by SkyVerge, WooCommerce Show Attributes, Back In Stock Notifier, WooCommerce Waitlist Pro and Pagar.me for WooCommerce. Multilingual integrations include WPML, WooCommerce Multilingual, Polylang, TranslatePress, Loco Translate, Weglot and GTranslate.
Add integrations or conditional content
YayMail Premium Addons are separate extensions used alongside YayMail. They extend the visual email designer to integrations for more than 80 third-party WooCommerce plugins, including the extra email templates associated with those plugins.
Conditional Logic is a Premium-only capability. It adds email blocks when their conditions apply, such as blocks for related or recommended products, loyalty rewards for specific customers, or custom email content for a product.
Install and enable a template
- Install and activate YayMail in WordPress, then open WooCommerce > Email Customizer.
- Choose an email template from the dropdown and arrange its blocks. Add branding and shortcodes as needed.
- Review the design with sample or existing order data, then send a test email.
- To use the new design instead of the old WooCommerce email style, enable the relevant YayMail template, such as Completed order.
When using Premium Addons, add the required addon alongside YayMail and configure the supported integration or conditions needed for that email content.
