Choose a submission route
Use the native FormyChat form or a floating widget with Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms, Ninja Forms or Fluent Forms. Existing Contact Form 7, WPForms, Gravity Forms and Ninja Forms forms can also be embedded on a page or post to send submissions through WhatsApp. Visitors can choose their country calling code before entering a phone number.
Configure forms, widgets and popups
Set the form header and submit button text, then adjust its size and dimensions. For the floating widget, choose a custom icon and size, position it with top, bottom, left or right coordinates, and edit the call-to-action bubble text, color and background. Premium fonts and layout controls provide more styling choices.
Greetings popup templates can welcome visitors before they submit a message. Adjust heading and message sizes, choose a premium font, and choose whether a click opens the form or redirects to WhatsApp.
Review and follow up on leads
The dashboard leads area stores submitted messages and form data. Records can include the submission date, name, email address, contact number and message, with metadata such as form type or widget name. Search, sort and filter entries by date range, form name or keyword, then export them as CSV files for storage or reporting.
FluentCRM integration syncs leads for follow-up and segmentation. Email notifications can also send submissions to your inbox alongside WhatsApp messages.
Set up and check the flow
Install FormyChat, enter the WhatsApp number that should receive submissions, and choose the native form, a floating widget or a supported form integration. Customize the presentation and place an embedded form on a page or post where needed. Submit a test entry to check the WhatsApp flow and confirm that the lead appears in the dashboard.
Contact Form 7 setup guidance mentions SMTP for WhatsApp redirection. The listing also describes an option to disable Contact Form 7 email notifications and use the integration without a third-party SMTP add-on, so the required setup depends on the notification configuration. No programming language knowledge is required.
