Booking and property management in WordPress

Vik Booking Pro extends the VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine and PMS for WordPress. It combines an internal reservation system with property management tools in WordPress administration for hotels, bed and breakfasts, villas, apartments, hostels, and similar accommodation businesses. Visitors book through a customizable, self-hosted process.

Rooms, rates, and booking views

Accommodation records can represent rooms, room types, listings, and sub-units. Availability and pricing calendars work alongside an occupancy overview. Rate plans can specify refundable, flexible, or non-refundable conditions. Pricing models can use occupancy, nightly rates, length of stay, or other approaches.

Seasonal rates and a rates calendar support one-click price modifications. Booking restrictions include minimum and maximum stays, closed-to-arrival and closed-to-departure dates, and required arrival or departure weekdays. Extra services and fees are also supported. The front end offers 12 views through 12 shortcode types for WordPress pages.

Reservations, guests, and housekeeping

For existing bookings, users can add, remove, or switch rooms. Customer management, sales channels, and commissions support reservation operations. Housekeeping tools include tableaux, festivities, and room-day notes. Guest registration and reporting cover check-ins, check-outs, and no-shows.

Payments, notifications, and reports

More than 60 custom payment gateways are available. SMS gateways support automated notifications, and custom cron job scheduling can handle tasks such as reminders and invoices. Graphs and statistics provide views of booking activity.

PMS reports use an extendable framework with built-in services for various countries. The electronic invoicing framework includes compliance support for Italy through Agenzia delle Entrate and Greece through myDATA AADE.

Channel connections and WordPress administration

Vik Booking Pro is compatible with Vik Channel Manager. Full API connections are described for Airbnb, Expedia, and Google Hotel Free Booking Links; the product is also described as Google Hotel Ads certified for Free Booking Links. WhatsApp Business messaging integration with AI support requires Vik Channel Manager.

Permissions and ACL management let administrators control functions by WordPress visitor role. Built-in translation functions support multilingual administration and booking processes. The back end includes the PMS tools, while the front-end booking process can be customized for the accommodation site.

Installation and setup

Install VikBooking in WordPress and upgrade to the Pro version from the administration area. After activation, configure the accommodation structure, rates, booking rules, and front-end views before accepting reservations.
