Search & Replace Everything Pro by WPCode helps update text, links, images, and media across a WordPress site. Use it for website migrations, content updates, or replacing existing media.

Choose and review text changes

Enter the text to find and its replacement, then select the database tables to search. Serialized data is supported, and case-sensitive matching lets you account for capitalization. Preview proposed changes before applying them so you can inspect the results.

Check short search terms for partial matches, since they may appear inside other words. For URL updates, use the same format for both values, including whether they have a trailing slash.

Replace images and media

Replace an picture from the media library; its thumbnails are automatically regenerated. You can also replace media documents in various formats across the site. Pro lets you replace images directly from the Gutenberg editor.

Undo operations with Pro

Pro includes the ability to undo Search & Replace operations performed with the Pro add-on. Review the preview before applying changes, and back up the database before replacements, especially for URL updates or broad content changes.

Start a replacement

Open WP Search & Replace under WP Admin > Tools. Enter the text or media replacement, select relevant database tables for text changes, and review the preview before applying the operation. For image work, use the media library or Gutenberg editor.
